On April 2, 2024, Sander Lubberhuizen, innovation manager of the municipality of Enschede, gave an enlightening presentation on the Cascade project. This presentation took place during a meeting organized by the Expertise Centre Europe of the province of Overijssel, as part of the 'Leergang Europa' (Europe Course).
The meeting was specifically intended for colleague municipalities from the region, who gathered to gain more knowledge about what Europe has to offer in terms of subsidies.
The Cascade project was presented as a shining example of municipal collaboration and development. Through this project, emphasis is placed on the importance of cooperation between different municipalities and the sharing of knowledge and expertise to achieve joint objectives.
